A few minutes drive from the main drag, this cozy motel is within walking distance of the harbor's boat-filled docks. Also referred to as a "resort motel," the two-story, sky blue building wraps around a small lawn, pool and patio, and behind it rests two tennis courts, all free to guests. Rooms are more simple--clean and featuring cable TV, a refrigerator, air conditioning and mirrors.

I stayed overnight at Harborside, and it was one of the worst experiences I ever had. There were bees, moths and mosquitos in the room. The plates inside the kitchen area were dirty and there was never anyone that came to the room to make up the beds or straighten up. The people there were rude and inconsiderate. There was an airconditioner in the room but it was blocked by a wall and the room never got cool enough to be comfortable in. The only thing that was hice about it was that there was a pool which was warm and clean. The other thing is that it wasn't far from the village of montauk,where we had the best pizza at a place called "sauseges". I would not recommend anyone to stay at the Harborside on vacation. Anywhere else would have been better.
