Editorial Review for The Palm – by Citysearch Staff
In Short
With its Italian-tinged menu and playful artwork on the walls, this national chain (which got its start in 1926) maintains a congenial atmosphere even as corporate patrons use company credit cards to pay for 36-ounce New York strips or jumbo lobsters. Sitting in dark wood chairs placed at tables topped in white linen, suit-jacketed gents and ladies sup on prime steaks, chops and hearty portions of classic Old World dishes like spaghettini marinara and veal piccata.

Insider Tips
What to DrinkBefitting the power broker atmosphere, The Palm's wine list is chock full of vintage bottles so treat yourself to a nice Italian red.
The ExtrasRegular patrons should join the 837 Club, the restaurant's frequent dining program. After spending a certain amount, customers earn incentives like gift certificates and trips.
Fun FactMixologists Willy Shine and Aisha Sharpe created the Palm Bar's hand crafted cocktail menu including originals like the gentle palm--a blend of muddled blackberry and strawberry, whiskey, pomegranate juice and black tea on the rocks.

We have been customers for years at this quaint restaurant that sits on the Main Street but you wouldn't know it because the landscaping outside makes you feel like you are visitng a persons home who loves flowers. It is so beautiful and they continue to pay a lot of attention to their special garden in the back. We recommend you take a nice walk there especially if you are coming from all the stress in the City. WE LOVE THE RESTAURANT. Everone there is wonderful especially Tomas! Whatever we have eaten there has always been great! My husband loves the steak and lobster and so do I, but we enjoy other dishes as well, the fried shrimp is plump and lucious, the veal is prepared many ways and i can't think of one I didn't enjoy as much as the other. They have nice wine and special drinks. TRY IT YOU WILL LOVE IT...
Pros: Valet Parking for us busy city folk, it is a nice treat!
Cons: Great Food gets very busy at night especially in the summer and on weekends
