I've been here four times this summer. Every time all the rooms are open, the outside is open and going strong with the vip tables are packed. I always get the table right in front of the DJ inside and get bottles with friends and the service is excellent. The drinks are very reasonably priced for a hamptons night spot. The music is always great and the crowd is anywhere between 21-35 on average a very good mix. If you are looking for a great night in the hamptons with great music after a great southampton restaurant make this your destination. "This is what the HAMPTONS is supposed to be at night."
Pros: Service, crowd, atmosphere.
Cons: no food, parking.

I went to La Playa this weekend, hoping to re-create the fun times I had last year at Stereo by the Shore. Unfortunately, almost the entire outdoor area was closed, as was one section inside the club. At 12:30 the place was almost empty. The crowd was very young..I would say 22 was the average age. Drinks were strong, and pretty reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Maybe it was just a bad night or too early in the season for this place.
Pros: good drinks
Cons: sections closed, young crowd
